Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, strong with great torque settings. I bought a couple of these cordless recently we work them from 8 to 6 everyday absolutely great value for money. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very powerful for its size! I was amazed by this drill- how technology has moved on. Its powerful, well balanced and does almost all of the jobs a mains power drill will do. The hammer action is particularly strong. It's slim so can drill in tight corners. Occasionally the bits come loose, but that's probably my bad practice of tightening the chuck by holding it and running the drill slowly (probably not recommended form a health and safety point of view!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent drill I bought this to replace my older Erbauer cordless drill and wow , how things have changed. Smaller, more compact ( useful for getting into tight spots) and yet more powerful and with longer lasting batteries. A well made good value drill which I would happily recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Combi Drill Really pleased with this drill. It's well engineered and robust, and does the usual drilling and driving well. Good control at low speeds, and seems to have enough power for most normal situations. Useful LED worklight, and the batteries charge quickly, in about 30 min. It comes with a useful carrying case. Not the cheapest drill out there, but there's a reason that these drills are well-regarded in the trade. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makita Vs DEwalt I spent a lot of time and research looking at the Makita 18v 3.0Ah and this one Dewalt 18v 2.0Ah BRUSHLESS! to replace an old Black and decker and after a bit of research the brushless won! the reason the brushless is lightweight and more compact but also gives better parts and better battery lifespan. the 2.0Ah lasts twice as long as they used to due to the new technology but also gives you better control I've been drilling 100mm screws into hard timber and its like it knows exactly what torque to use. you get two batteries too which is always great, the case is very hard wearing and solid everything fits perfectly with other slots to fit extra batteries in if needed. all metal chuck and very bright LED with 16 torque settings. I am sure that the Makita would have performed great but in the back of my mind I had doubts about quality after reading some reviews which is a surprise but its why its slightly cheaper. extremely please with the branch and the drill I am 100% confident it will do most things I use it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top drill, two little niggles Had this drill for just over a month now and I have to say it's an excellent piece of kit. Powerful, precise chuck and light weight. The batteries are exceptional with the 30 min charger and coupled with the brushless motor, its like having two 4ah batteries. I was considering the Makita and the Bosch in this price range but the plastic chuck on both put me off. The first niggle I have with this drill is that the batteries don't fit snug into the handle of the drill. It means that the battery moves a tiny bit, I checked the display models in store and they were the same. Done some research and found there is a lot of people complaining about it, I suspect that this is why the price has been reduced. The other problem is the usual suspect, the charger doesn't fit well in the case and moves around when you pick it up. Not a major problem but annoying all the same. All that said and after putting a few strips of Gorilla tape on the lip of the batteries, the drill is fantastic and well worth the money. In my opinion the best drill for the price, niggles included. Hope this helps
