I've used it for drilling fairly large diameter holes and chiseling and it didn't struggle at all. I considered the lower powered version as it's for occasional use, but i'm glad i paid a few extra ££ for this. I have always been pleased with the durability of Bosch tools so i'm sure this won't disappoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrBrico from Wish I'd bought it years ago! I was really struggling to drill holes in a concrete garage; my hammer drill wouldn't touch it, even with good quality drill bits. I eventually bit the bullet and bought this drill - Why did I wait so long?! This is amazing. It doesn't come with drill bits so I bought a set (they are cheaper and far more durable than I expected). The drill makes easy work of the concrete and really takes no effort whatsoever. Amazing! I'm converted. As usual, Bosch products feel solid and well made. I'm impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1handyman from tough days work! excellent drill, buy an adaptor chuck and this drill will do 95% of everything you will come across. used it to chisel out concrete posts, drill concrete and brick for rawl bolts then 10mm holes in steel - no problem! If you only want to buy one drill this is the only one. It drills, hammer drills and chisels, and it's quite lightweight for the power delivered.

If you never used this sort of tool before, remember: its performance will definitely exceed your imagination. 4* for features only, as the kit lacks any drills/chisels in the suitcase. Oh, one more important thing, don't push hard during the drilling, just firmly hold your tool: SDS hammer drill is designed to do the job for you.
